Return & Exchange Policy
At Taj Cottage, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our garments, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. Each item is carefully inspected before shipping to ensure it meets our brand standards.
Because many of our products are handcrafted or customized, all sales are final.
If your item arrives defective or damaged, we’re happy to offer an exchange for the same item or store credit, following the guidelines below.
Eligibility

Exchanges are accepted only for defective or damaged items.

All damages must be reported within 48 hours of receiving your order by emailing sales@tajcottage.com with clear photos or videos and a description of the issue.

Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and returned with all original tags and packaging intact.

Items showing any wear, damage, or missing tags will not qualify for exchange.

Altered, custom order, shoes, accessories, jewelry, sale, and clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
How to Request an Exchange

Email sales@tajcottage.com within 48 hours of delivery.

Include your order number, item name, and photos or videos clearly showing the defect or damage.

Once approved, you’ll receive detailed instructions for shipping and items need to be shipped withing 5 days of the delivery.
Please note: unauthorized or late returns will not be accepted.
Shipping & Processing

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your package reaches us safely. Taj Cottage is not responsible for lost or damaged return packages.

Once your item is received and inspected, your exchange or store credit will be processed within 7–10 business days.
Important Notes

Slight variations in embroidery, stitching, or color are part of the handcrafted process and not considered defects.

Items reported as damaged after 48 hours of delivery will not be eligible for exchange, NO EXCEPTION.
International Orders
At this time, Taj Cottage does not accept returns or exchanges for international orders.
